Events

Skilta organizes many events every year. You get the information about them through the mailing list, by reading Pruju (information letter for TUT students, available in English through INTO) or in the notice board outside of Skilta.

Below you can read some brief descriptions of the biggest events organized by Skilta. Join the mailing list to get more specific information once we organize them once again!

KooVee

KooVee sauna is one of the biggest sauna events in TUT and it takes its place in Kivijärvi camping center in Ylöjärvi. You can play kyykkä, participate in the prize draw with unbelievably super prizes and swim in a beautiful lake. A great place to make new friends at the beginning of an academic year!

KumipelausISO

KumipelausISO is a crazy sports game that's quite like football, but actually nothing like it. The referee's word is law and he/she can change the rules at any time, so it is impossible to describe it – you have to experience it! The games are played on Rosendahl beach. Some even go swimming in the lake Pyhäjärvi because of the warm and sunny weather of late April.

Keskiasteen välitutkinto

Keskiaste is a massive student event in Hervanta. Hundreds of students try their luck to survive this pub crawl taking place in Hervanta only. There are four different degrees that you can accomplish, and then continue the fest at the after party. The event is usually held in the beginning of April.

Other stuff Skilta organizes a lot of other stuff, too! Examples of these include excursions, sauna evenings, a pre-xmas party etc etc. Join the mailing list to be informed!
